This series of "Exhale" drawings focus on the relationship between the artist and the process. Each freehand line is conducted for the length of one exhale and mimics the previous line. Beginning with the straightest freehand line possible, the "waves" begin to take shape as minor imperfections or bumps in one line are exaggerated through the following lines. Pink acrylic linework on high-quality Black paper with Light Blue and Light Pink spray paint. Unmounted and unframed so I suggest getting this piece framed. This is the first piece I’ve done using pink acrylic paint marker for the linework. I love the details and little splatters caused by the tiny textures of the paper and spray pain They really give this piece some beautiful detail and originality.
